Thank you so much for showing us the way. My front one has an obvious leak. I was not going to tackle the back valve cover gasket until I read your post. You make us look like geniuses to the Missus. Also thanks for reminding us to replace the spark plugs.

If you have to ask... It's probably going to be harder than you think. You need a transmission, probably a R700 for an auto is what I used. Fabricate motor mounts, a cross member for the transmission, convert from power to manual steering, fabricate exhaust, convert the speedo and tach to read the transmission correctly, remove the computer and use the computer for the motor you are using, if any. There are places that make some of these parts if you google around enough. There's a place called "granny's" if I recall correctly that has a lot of the parts for these kinds of swap if you want too checkbook it instead of making your own. I had to have them convert my tach but everything else I did myself. I also had to buy a right angle geared ratio changing adapter for the speedo connection to the transmission. I also used a plain off-the-shelf shifter from checker which worked fine for the automatic transmission.

Hi.
Thanks for the great round up of sights.

I have a standard 10/22 which came with a sight mount rail. It has a 3/8" dovetail on the top of it.
I purchased the Lyman globe sight 17 ATC @ 0.852", and the Williams FP-AG-TK.
When I am at 50 yards I am about 12" high and can not lower the Williams FP
any more, it bottoms out.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
